Changes afoot in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale’s reputation as a destination for drunken college parties is changing rapidly with an influx of superior hotel accommodation. Three new hotels have replaced a sea-front previously cluttered with cheap motels. There’s The Atlantic, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort and a St Regis Resort, as well as W Hotel and a Donald Trump resort to follow next year. And all this just 45 minutes north of Miami. Looks like interesting times lie ahead.
