The new Casanova Hotel in Barcelona
Barcelona, Casanova Hotel in Barcelona has been re-imagined from an 18th Century limestone wealthy residence into an urban chic hotel. Set to debut its hip elegant décor next month, the 124-room, eight-story Casanova blends modern design with theatrical flair. Samir Saab, concept designer of such notable properties like Ikal del Mar (now The Tides Riviera Maya) and Esencia in the Riviera Maya and La Pleta in the Spanish Pyrenees, took a cue from Barcelona’s Gaudi architecture and buzzing arts scene to re-fashion the hotel. The new look aims to appeal to chic trendsetters and savvy urbanites. Ideally located in the heart of Barcelona, Casanova is within walking distance of Las Ramblas, major museums, the city’s convention centre, the Metro and just a short taxi ride from the beach.
