UK attractions compete for £50m of lottery funding

The EdgeThe Edge, the next evolution of the Eden Project, will be the last great building in the former china clay pit at Bodelva near St Austell in Cornwall.  It is one of  a number of  projects currently competing in the Big Lottery Fund’s: The People’s £50 Million contest.  It will compete against Sherwood Forest, a Black Country Urban Park  and transport charity Sustrans, and the winner will be decided by a public vote in December 2007.
