There’s a new book out from Louis Vuitton with more than 800 photographs that showcase 100 legendary LV trunks and detail the stories behind their creation. See the video below for an insight. The book is available from October 2010.

Great find. Just amazing pics of a lost way of travel.
We borrow much of our clothing inspiration from old trunks, travel circuits, and grand hotels of the past.
Now of course I want the book, and then an old LV trunk!
Imagine travelling with trunks these days can you imagine the excess baggage charges, although i would love one of those vintage louis vuitton trunks for my house.
