Top 100 destinations for 2010

Kiwi Collection has released its first-ever Top 100 Destinations list. It was compiled from their website analytics and showcases the most popular hotel and resort destinations from a combination of consumer reservations and research browsing. Perhaps unsurprisingly trendy destinations such as Paris, Dubai, London, Florence, Milan, Rome, Barcelona, and Venice snapped up top spots with ease. Meanwhile Turks and Caicos has risen dramatically, becoming the number one Caribbean hotspot, and the 2010 Winter Olympics have apparently paid off for Vancouver, Canada, acquiring the number seven spot. Asia’s popularity continues to grow, claiming four of their top ten spots, and with Koh Samui overtaking Phuket as the leading luxury beach resort
destination in Thailand. The small country town of Lithgow, Australia made the 21st position due to a strong, targeted campaign by Emirates’ new Wolgan Valley Resort.
