Earlier this month, you may recall we reviewed The Chester Residence in Edinburgh’s West End. News just in is that the hotel has been named Luxury Accommodation of the Year and Serviced Apartments of the Year at the Scottish Hotel Awards 2011, held at the Thistle Glasgow Hotel. Graham Wood, co-owner with his wife Gillian, was presented with the awards at the ceremony attended by hundreds of hoteliers from across Scotland. These latest accolades back up Tripadvisor’s endorsement last year when it named The Chester Residence as one of the Top 25 hotels in Europe by the leading global travel website Trip Advisor.
