BUKHARA pop-up comes to London for two weeks in May

An exciting (albeit temporary) addition to London’s restaurant scene this summer, award-winning Indian restaurant BUKHARA will commandeer the Trianon Room in the Sheraton Park Tower – a Luxury Collection Hotel in Knightsbridge and pop-up for two weeks next month, from 17th May to 1st June 2012. Frequently hailed as the world’s best Indian restaurant, BUKHARA is usually housed at ITC Maurya in New Delhi and has attracted a host of celebrity fans over the years including the Obamas, the Clintons, Richard Branson and Arnold Schwarzenegger. For two weeks only, head chefs Manjit Gill and JP Singh will bring a taste of India‘s northwest frontier to their London endeavour with signature dishes such as Murgh Malai Kebab (creamy chicken kebab), Sikandari Raan (marinated whole leg of spring lamb) and the raved-about Dal Bukhara (a combination of whole black lentils, ginger, garlic and tomatoes slow-cooked for nearly 20 hours). The pop-up will be styled by Waris Ahluwalia: actor, designer, dedicated traveller and The Luxury CollectionÂ’s newest Global Explorer.
