Extreme adventures in Montserrat, Spain

Montserrat – as well as being a Caribbean island – is the name given to a multi-peaked mountain close to Barcelona. The name literally means “saw mountain”, alluding to its jagged peaks. It is best known for being the site of the Benedictine abbey, Santa Maria de Montserrat, but also serves as a playground for hikers, climbers and extreme sports enthusiasts. Watch in awe as you see the antics of one of the latter.
