Photograph of the week: Poppies in Provence

Poppies are everywhere in Provence this time of year, and these rolling hills outside of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie are blanketed with poppies as far as the eye can see, like a scene out of The Wizard of Oz. Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is one of the “Most beautiful villages of France”, and neighbours the scenic Gorges du Verdon. Poppies
