5 levels of luxury that are customisable on a private jet

One of the most appealing aspects of travelling by private jet is the myriad of exciting and unique options you have at your fingertips. Chartering your own jet means that you’re truly able to customise the journey to your exact specifications. The entire industry is built on providing the highest quality of customer service, so when it comes to giving the customer what they want, the sky is far from the limit. Here are 5 levels of luxury that are customisable on a private jet. Where you depart from and arrive to Commercial airlines are severely limited in terms of where they take off from and land, as they are only able to use the large commercial airports available to them. This often means travelling for quite a distance at both ends of your journey, which can be both an inconvenience and add an extra element of cost. Chartering your own jet opens up access to thousands more options for where you can depart from and arrive to. Often, smaller, non-commercial airports or strips are in far more convenient locations, and you can as a customer are free to figure out which will be the most favourable for your purposes. What time you take off With private charters, flying on someone else’s schedule is a thing of the past – you pick the exact time that you want to depart. Delays and cancellations are also extremely uncommon with private flights, something which unfortunately can’t be said of most commercial airlines. But on the other hand, it’s completely different if it is you as the customer who is struggling for time. You can simply call ahead to let the pilot know that you’re going to be 15 or so minutes late. The aircraft will still be there waiting for you when you arrive and departure will be rearranged for the new time, even at relatively short notice. All of your catering options Forget about unappetising, underwhelming in-flight meals that arrive whether you’re ready for them or not. And you can also forget about having to wait what seems like hours for the drinks trolley to come round, only to be served a plastic cup full of something so small it barely wets your tongue. When you fly privately, depending on the aircraft, all of your catering options are entirely customisable to your exact requirements. That means that if you have a favourite restaurant which you want the meals on your flight to come from, it can be arranged. And if you’d like to sip a bottle of vintage champagne on your journey, or have a craving for a particular brand of spring water, this can also be accommodated. Your choice of entertainment If you want your favourite newspaper, or a selection of magazines or books on board for when you take off, all you need to do is ask. Depending on the aircraft, you’ll have options for inflight movies completely of your choosing, your favourite music, or even games consoles or tablets. There’s also no need to turn off your devices when you fly privately, and the majority of craft have excellent WiFi which will keep you connected throughout your flight, a necessity for many in this day and age. The aircraft you fly in There are thousands of aircraft available to charter, and depending on where you’re going, how many people are travelling, and how long the flight is, you’ll ordinarily be assisted in finding the most suitable one for your purposes. But if there is an aircraft you especially want to fly on, then you’re also able to request that particular one when you book. Whether it’s a turboprop, VIP jet or even a helicopter that takes your fancy, it’s possible to get the exact craft that you want. Small, large, business or all out luxury, there’s a jet to suit your needs. Gayle Anderson is Sales Director at Prestige Jets. 1. These are some things I’ve never thought about. I’ve thought about the advantages of a private jet in terms of the comfort of the interior, but being able to choose a more local airport as well as the time of departure would be an excellent bonus as well. A meal catered exactly to my requirements in the air would be excellent. This would certainly set me up for a fantastic vacation. Traveling can sometimes be exhausting and you need the first day to recover from the flight – but a private jet would have me there refreshed and ready to go.

  2. There really are so many benefits to private jets – I think I might almost be converted. It’s amazing to miss all the horrible airport queues and to take off whenever you want to. Jets are fantastic and I think they’ll gain popularity even more so soon. My only concern is whether they are environmentally friendly, as I assume they’re not?
