When it comes to luxury vacations, nothing quite compares to the dazzling city of Miami. With glittering skyscrapers reaching up into the blue sky, whilst turquoise ocean waters sparkle along the horizon, it’s the perfect combination of modern cosmopolitan life mixed within a tropical paradise. For those looking to experience the city’s culture, why not spend your days visiting some of the city’s illustrious museums, such as the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens? Or if you’re looking for something to get your adrenaline pumping, why not sail a yacht around the breathtaking Biscayne Bay where you can take in panoramic views of the city’s golden sunsets? Or on those quieter lazy days, why not simply relax on the beach before heading out into the city at night to experience the fine dining and glittering social scene of this exquisite city.

Disney World

When it comes to luxury holidays, Disney World doesn’t tend to be the first destination that springs to mind. But don’t write off Mickey Mouse just yet. With a variety of packages, price ranges and experiences to choose from, a stay in Walt Disney World can be a fairytale vacation come to life.

With an array of exquisite hotels to choose from such as the picturesque gilded Grand Floridian, or the nautical dreamy Yacht and Beach Club, or even the tropical beauty of The Polynesian, Walt Disney World’s accommodation selection is second to none in both their incredible theming and luxurious touches. 1. I recall descending into Ft. Lauderdale a few years ago Andrew knowing I had to see Miami. Gorgeous condos on beautiful seas. Like Miami Vice views minus the murdering drug lords.

Disney is great and why most people visit Florida and for good reason too. It is great to hear about other parts of Florida too though as there is so much to see and do there. I love Miami Beach the people are so friendly and it’s full of such a vibrant energy. I have to say thought that key west is my favourite of them all. I have spent many a beautiful night there and have never been disappointed can’t recommend enough.

Maybe, if you do another list or a follow-up piece, you should take a look at Sarasota, south of Tampa, over on the Gulf Coast. In a state of Theme Parks, Sarasota provides its luxury in terms of culture. It’s got an Opera House, theatres and The Ringlung Museum of Art.

Not that it’s relevant, and I’m not sure whether it’s still true, but there was a time when Sarasota boasted the only roundabout in Florida. I should know I drove round it twice when I got lost.
