Their Adriana Suite is larger than many apartments at 115 m² offering a living room, a spacious dressing room and a bathroom. Plus of course a private terrace with jacuzzi where you can relax while admiring those fabulous Mediterranean views.
Castell Son Claret

With large living room, dining table for four, a sofa bed, a master bedroom and the chicest of bathrooms complete with marble bathtub, you can sing away to your hearts content with their “Teufel” sound system !
Zafiro Palace Alcudia
The sophisticated five star Zafiro Palace Alcudia brings something quite new to the island. At the same time, so cleverly designed is this chic retreat set in acres of space, that singles and couples will also feel cosseted and very much at home.
If you are aiming high, then book the Owners Suite. 165 m² of luxury, leading out onto your private terrace with jacuzzi, shower and Bali bed from which you can survey the entire property and the breath-taking views of Alcudia beyond.
La Residencia – A Belmond Hotel
This is the grande dame of Mallorca’s country-house hotels and high on Europe’s ‘must stay ‘ list. Belmond La Residencia delivers outstanding 5 star service to all visitors which include presidents and pop stars yearning for privacy.
The vastness of the property, a mix of centuries-old buildings in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana, an art gallery, two artists’ studios, four restaurants, two outdoor pools and tennis courts, the list of amenities is endless and of course it offers a range of hotel accommodation.
But it is the recently designed Matthew Williamson’s Suite that really hits the mark. His acclaimed fashion label offering his trademark lively colours and playful designs have become permanent feature in Suite no 67. A huge and happy place, this casita style suite even has its own bijou private pool !
Cap Rocat
Set in 88 acres and stretching along the coastline for two kilometres, this former military fort is much more than a hotel, it is an architectural and environmental conservation project.
Drawing in the rich and famous from around the world for its secluded position, you will be wowed at every turn by the open courtyard lounge, the golf carts that whisk you from pool to spa or Sea Club restaurant to your suite.
All rooms have a magic touch but none more so than the Sentinels suites on the edge of the cape’s cliffs. Snuggled into the rock like secret enclaves, they have been splendidly transformed from what were surveillance points controlling the entrance to Palma Bay into the most elegant rooms. There is nothing between you and the blue of the Mediterranean whilst you lie in the total privacy of the infinity plunge pool.
Son Brull Hotel and Spa
Formerly a 12th-century monastery, this 5 Star peaceful hideaway in the hills enjoys complete privacy and idyllic views, thanks to its elevated position and extensive grounds. Huge swimming pool, state of the art spa and fine dining at the in-house restaurant mean you never need to leave. But if you do, the hotel’s bicycles will take you into the old town of Pollensa in about 15 minutes.
The recent addition of the Villa Suites offer space and privacy in their secluded setting away from the main hotel building. Seamlessly combining modern Mallorcan architecture with all the services of a 5 star hotel. With two bedrooms, two sleek bathrooms, private garden with stunning valley views and your own heated swimming pool. On cooler nights, you can cosy up around the fireplace in the living room and enjoy the star-lit Mallorcan skies from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Heaven.
So many to choose from. Which will be your favourite ?
When you hear the word “suite” you want to feel a sense of space, a unique offering, a higher level of comfort, personalised details and service. Luxury hotel facilities plus your very own suite should take you a notch or two higher. The problem is – you’ll never want to leave !

Once you’ve enjoyed the comfort and space of a suite it’s very hard to go back to a standard hotel room.
I know what your mean Jean…hard to put the genie back in the bottle…but I think we all need a treat at the moment…!
A difficult choice to pick out one of these. I’d probably go for La Residencia as I’ve never been disappointed by the Belmond properties. Their service standards are impeccable.
I can’t believe that I’ve never done Mallorca. Reading this I’m beginning to realise what I’ve missed out on.
Wow Jim you need to get your suitcase down at the first opportunity! Presidents and pop stars and many many more have passed through Mallorca and now it’s your turn Jim. You will be smitten.
This looks like another world, like pages from a fashion mag doing a holiday photo-shoot. It’s so long since I’ve travelled and had a holiday that I think I’ll have forgotten what to pack and forgotten how to relax on a sun-lounger. Dressing for dinner, if it ever happens, will be such a treat.
Thanks for your kind comments Laura. As I was writing the blog I was dreaming. Seems crazy now when I look back at the airport scrums to get on board. All crushed together. I am sure you won’t have any problem relaxing. It’s like riding a bike ! We all just need to get back on the saddle.
Never mind the suites this post could have been about those tempting pools or the rooftop bars!
Tempting aren’t they. So lucky in Mallorca to have so may luxury hotels to choose from ! The bar has been set very high in recent years. All MallorcanTonic clients are happy with the selection I have made for the website! Time to start planning!
At 115 square metres the Adriana suite is probably bigger than the first one bedroom flat that I bought. Got to say it looks really, really comfortable.
Mallorca really does luxury well. The type of suites featured here is diverse in a way that some offers more luxe outside spaces while the others are more invested in the interior. Nonetheless, these are exceptional choices especially if you are fond of spending the day under the sun.
Well said Andrew.
Of the 60 or so luxury hotels in Mallorca we feature it really is so hard to compare.
The standard has been set so high over the last decade that each hotel new to the market has to exceed it ! And we are the lucky recipients.
We’re hoping to get to Mallorca late September once the edge has gone off the summer heat and when there’s less threat of air traffic disruption, sir traffic controllers’ strikes etc etc
Really glad that I found all your posts on Mallorca. As we’ve never visited the island before they’ve helped us build up a picture of what the island has to offer and how we could enjoy it.
It’s always about this time of year as the clocks are going back and the temperature is dropping that my mind starts turning to the Med to wring the last bit of warmth out of the year. Some very nice recommendations for hotel suites here.
