Now that I’m retired I’d been eyeing up Arizona for January 2022. I really can’t face the worst of another British winter even if I don’t have to get up at 6.30 in the morning to head out into the cold and dark.

Like most keen travellers I’ve done the big West Coast tour – Grand Canyon and all the way to Vegas too. Looking back I wish we’d made more of Arizona. It looks to have a quite unique style. It’s probably time to go back and do it in style and taking our time with a more leisurely trip.
