  2. Very interesting and very tempting. Looking ahead to future posts, I think a lot of us would like to read some Top 5 guides. For example Top 5 restaurants in Sydney, not necessarily the very best. A Top 5 good value would be good. Or how about 10 ethnic restaurants in Melbourne? The possibilities are endless.

  3. Another great bonus of eating in Australia is that you usually seem to have some great views too whether its Sydney’s Opera House, sunset over the Outback or gazing out towards the Barrier Reef. Also as these pictures show you’ve often got sunlight too.

  4. We’re saving up for a big trip to Australia in 2023. No stop-overs. We’re going to be giving Australia 100% of our attention. That should give us the budget to enjoy some fantastic food and wine whilst we’re there.

  5. I’ve always argued that there’s more to Aussie cuisine than that old “Throw another shrimp on the barbie” cliche. I’ve had some of the best meals of my life in Australia. And none of them have been cooked on a barbie.
