    1. Thanks for your comment Ben, not just these two courses, there are others too. very good courses, affordable, and in a country that has so much else to offer.

  3. I can’t even begin to think of how you’d go about designing a golf course to show off the local landscape whilst also making it a fair test for golfers.

  4. Putting for my par? As a golfer you have to believe. It should have read “putting for my birdie.”

    1. LOL the first draft said “putting for birdie” but i decided that might jinx my next round and i would end up with a double bogey on the 18th so i settled for a steady par…

  5. Away from all the controversy and shenanigans of the professional game, this all goes to show that golf is becoming an increasingly global game.

    1. I presume you’ve watched the Netflix series ‘Full Swing’ that covers much of the ongoing “shenanigans”? But golf is the same as lots of pro sport, if you remove the politics and remove the money, it’s a simple game that anyone can enjoy around the world…

  6. It’s getting to that stage of life where even driving home after 18 holes is becoming an effort.

A golf break where you play 18, somebody else cooks you dinner and then you collapse into a hotel bedroom is becoming more and more appealing.
