Although it wasn’t quite Barcelona, BBC’s The Split:Barcelona will have people flocking to the Catalan coast. My guess is that the finca to die for and the gorgeous vineyards and coastline were probably somewhere around Sitges and inland from there. It was all so beautiful that a lot of us will be following in the footsteps of the Defoe sisters and jetting in to Barcelona.
From what I’ve heard from my friends a lot of people were absolutely enchanted by the scenery and lifestyle of The Split – Barcelona. There’ll be a lot of people searching for flights to Barcelona this month and I’ll be one of them.
It was a magnificent advert for the Catalonia lifestyle. Let’s hope that we all get the backdrop, cuisine and wine, without the matrimonial break-ups and emotional angst.
Absolutely! The stunning settings in *The Split: Barcelona* are bound to inspire visits to the Catalan coast. Sitges and its surrounding areas, with their picturesque fincas, vineyards, and coastline, make the perfect backdrop. It’s easy to see why so many will be tempted to follow in the Defoe sisters’ footsteps and jet off to Barcelona for their own slice of cinematic paradise.
