Those stylish urban slides have got my boyfriend’s name written all over them. He loves that sort of slide. He’d even wear them to the office if he could.
Hope he likes them, Kate… Happy Christmas to you both! 😀
My partner is definitely getting envious of his friends who’ve already got drones. Getting him a DJI drone for Xmas would give him a new boy’s toy to keep him occupied in those difficult days between Christmas and New Year.
They have an excellent range, Jessica… definitely worth looking at their site. I have my eye on the ones that are less than 250g as there are very few restrictions associated with their use.
You’ve never let me down with your suggestions for gifts for “him” and I expect this year won’t be an exception!
Awwww, thank you, Grace! 😀 Have a lovely Christmas.
A flight gift card is a great idea. He might want to use it to take me with him on a long weekend away to Paris or Nice or Milan.
I like your way of thinking, Moya… 🤣
Sometimes you can’t wait for Christmas. The Net Gear mobile router is what I need RIGHT NOW!
Ha! Why not treat yourself with an early gift, Chris? 😀
So far my partner’s visited over 80 countries, admittedly largely for business. It would be good to get the world pin map to keep track of exactly where he has been.
It would also bring a splash of colour and a personal touch to his work room which does look all too functional and characterless at the moment.
80… that’s pretty impressive, Sheila! I would imagine anyone so well travelled would love the map.
Clever market segmentation from Flight Gift on how they deliver the product.
It’s a great product, as it’s so adaptable. There are those traditionalists, of whom I am one, who believe in giving a physical gift that the recipient can unwrap and actually feel in their hands. Though J get that there are people in a hurry who’d prefer the PDF. Flight Gift understand that it takes all sorts.
Exactly, Gerald… and for anyone reading, it’s still not too late to buy such a gift as you can have it straight to your inbox in a matter of minutes. 😀
The AlcoSense device is a very sensible investment. A friend of mine got driven home from works cocktails by his wife, had a glass of wine with dinner and then a nightcap before going to bed.
He never gave it a thought that he’d be over the limit. He got stopped on his way to work the next morning and was prosecuted.
I’d agree it’s an unusual gift, but in many respects also very practical, and could save you from a very difficult situation.
Yes, that’s definitely a retro look to the Aspinal bag, a touch of the Swinging Sixties there. My era.
Great for displays of patriotism! 😀
Yes, you’ve nailed the problem; selecting a gift that promises to last and be more than a quick moment of pleasure as you swipe away the writing paper. And there loads of great ideas here. The deck of cards and case should impress throughout the year on all those boys’ poker nights.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting again, Sally… always a pleasure to see your words of wisdom. Merry Christmas to you!! 😀
‘Tis the season to be jolly if your other half gets you a Men’s Odin Pro Shield jacket. We’ve been getting all sorts of weather this month.
It’s a lovely jacket, Shane… but then so are all Helly Hansen jackets. 🙂
That’s such a great quote from Hardy Amies about how men should select and wear their clothes. I’ve forwarded it to my partner in the hope that he takes notice.
Or, as Georgio Armani put it: “Elegance is not about being noticed, it’s about being remembered.”
I can 110% recommend the Charles Tyrwhitt jumper. I bought one for my partner’s birthday 2 weeks ago.
He works from home and that jumper is his daily work wear and he wears it for leisure at weekends too, so it must be comfortable.
That’s good to know, Jane… thank you for sharing this and Happy Christmas! 🙂
For once on 22nd December I’m feeling very smug at getting all my Christmas shopping done. rather than suffering from panic. This is a whole new experience for me and I’m enjoying it. A heart felt big thank you for some very shrewd recommendations. I was spoilt for choice though I did spend more than I had planned to.
Well done, Sue! Now you can put your feet up and enjoy the festivities. 😀
We really do have it easy nowadays when it comes to last-minute Christmas shopping. I’d left it to the weekend for the big present for my boyfriend but within 2 minutes online I had it all sorted with the flight voucher.
Yes, it certainly makes life a whole lot easier and saves us trudging around the shops in desparation!
I went for the Elephant Swim shorts. They’ve been delivered, wrapped and are looking good.
We keep talking about going on a safari in the Spring. Those trunks are a reminder that one of our holiday jobs is to book that safari. That will be our big Christmas present to ourselves.
That’s great to hear, Jackie… so nice to know that people actually use these lists, thank you. 😀
On the one hand the traditionalist in me says go round the shops, find something inspired and battle the crowds and traffic congestion to get it home. Then again my inner digital pragmatist says life’s too short. Get it all done on line. Take the stress out of. Christmas shopping.
I know which I prefer… 😊
The Tan Twill Travel jacket turned up today – yes, I left it a bit late – and I’m sure that he will like it.
Glad to hear it arrived in time, Sue… JUST!!! 😀
