Beijing’s Water Cube
Water Cube at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Â This national aquatics centre was official unveiled last month and will host diving and swimming events between 8th and 24th August 2008. The complex cost over 1 billion yuan (that’s a little shy of $150 million), covers 65,000 square metres and will have a capacity of 17,000 for the duration of the Games. Â And for that kind of spend, you also get a lot of LEDs to ensure the venue looks pretty at night!
