Serena Hotels expands into Rwanda

Kigali InterContinental HotelFollowing a long-term lease agreement with the Government of Rwanda, Serena Hotels is to take over two hotels in Rwanda – the 104-room, five-star Kigali InterContinental Hotel and the 72-room, four-star Kivu Sun Hotel – from 1st February 2007. They will be renovated and be known respectively as the Kigali Serena Hotel and Lake Kivu Serena Hotel.

    2. When I hear the words “Hotel” and “Rwanda” in a sentence, it conjures up a very different image in my mind. Serena Hotels though, looks like a very nice accommodation. The architecture of the building blends in quite well with the local landscape.
