AIG take luxury retreat at St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort

Category: Accommodation, California, North America, Regions, Resorts, Travel Miscellany, USA, Videos — Paul Johnson @ 11:47 pm

The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, located midway between Los Angeles and San Diego, has been in the news this week because AIG allegedly totted up a bill of almost half a million dollars there, just days after receiving an $85 billion bailout at the expense of US taxpayers.  Understandably, the news isn’t being entirely well received.  See the video for more.

    2. It was a daft move by them. They must have known the backlash would be pretty fierce. Looks a lovely place mind you.
