Would you pay $250,000 for a bottle of nail polish?

Luxury US jeweller Azature, whose creations have been worn by the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Liv Tyler, Megan Fox, Beyonce and Rihanna, has come up with its own black diamond nail polish.  With a price tag of $250,000, it easily becomes the most expensive nail polish in the world, incredibly making Model’s Own $130,000 Gold Rush Couture shade seem… well, a little bit cheap.  Azature claim to have a 576-person waiting list for the nail polish despite stating that only one bottle will be made. The formula contains 267 carats of black diamonds, considered to be the ultimate jewel by Azature.

For those of you who prefer to live in the real world, a $25 version of the nail varnish will be coming to a department store near you some time soon…

    I can think of about 100 better ways to spend $250,000, so have to say no to that one. I’ll just stick to my fav. OPI’s and Essie colors with a really good manicurist.

    It’s probably the same as all other nail varnish and will chip within a couple of hours of putting it on!! Then to touch up the chips, you’ll be spending loads of dollars!! No I’ll be sticking to the cheap stuff.
