Fire at the Kabul InterContinental Hotel

Fire! A fireÂ broke out at the five-star Kabul InterContinental Hotel yesterday. The cause of the fire – which occurred just after 6pm – is currently unknown although some staff have been takenÂ into custody for investigation.Â The blaze was brought under control within one and a half hours and thankfully thereÂ have beenÂ no casualties.
