Libya’s first and only five star hotel

Corinthia Bab AfricaIn a city that is prone to awarding itself top achievement for what is often, by western standards, not of the very highest quality, Libya’s first and only five star hotel doesn’t disappoint. The Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel is a stunning twin-tower property in the heart of Tripoli’s business district, 5 minutes from Green Square.   The hotel has spacious rooms, its own two-floor spa, gym, and banqueting and conference facilities.

  1. By libyan standards this is almost more than a five star hotel as it varies so dramatically from many others available in Tripoli. But this city is so worth a visit no matter where you stay – get there before all the tourists do and ruin a great secret. Not far from tripoli are 2 stunning roman ruins where visitors are allowed to walk about freely throughout them – unlike in italy where they are all cordoned off and can only be seen from a distance. Tripoli is a great city full of history and different cultures and civilisations.

  2. In Tripoli this is a fab hotel and a cut above everything else on offer. great facilities and close to green square, the souk and the main business area. i stayed here for business and it was perfect beats many of the other options available hands down.
