Oprah Winfrey private jet incident

A bird collided with Oprah Winfrey’s GulfStream private jet this week. The plane’s windshield cracked, and the jet was forced to return to the airport in Santa Barbara, California to make an emergency landing. The jet will stay put at the airport until its windshield can be fixed. Oprah and her boyfriend, Stedman Graham, were not hurt. The bird, of course, was not so fortunate.
[…] You may recall this story from earlier in the year when Oprah Winfrey had a bit of a scare with her GulfStream private jet earlier in the year. Well now apparently she is splashing out on a new jet: a Global Express XRS from Bombardier Aerospace. She’s opted for the 10-seater model with a custom-designed interior and a price tag of $47 million to match. She joins the likes of Stephen Spielberg and Bill Gates by being a Global Express owner.
