Asia Pacific’s leading luxury hotel group, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, was named Best Hotel Chain in Asia in the annual FinanceAsia Business Travel Poll Awards 2005. The poll invited FinanceAsia readers to rate the best and worst elements of Asian travel. Of 768 responses, 25% of respondents spent more than 50 nights per year in hotels and 44% spent between 21 and 50 nights in hotels.
