Panasonic yesterday launched the world’s smallest 10x optical zoom digital compact camera. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 has a high-speed autofocus response time, and has a retractable lens system with folded optics technology, realized by the inclusion of a prism. The zoom ratio can be extended up to 12.5x in 3 megapixel resolution mode with minimal deterioration thanks to the Extra Optical Zoom.
