Observer food awards

UK celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has scooped two awards in the Observer Food Monthly Awards 2006. He was judged to have made the Most Outstanding Contribution to the Food Industry, while his TV series Jamie’s School Dinners was voted the Best Food Programme. Bruce Poole’s Chez Bruce in London was voted the Best Restaurant while North Bar in Leeds took home the Best Bar award.
