World Cup 2006 - Group A: Poland team hotel
Although the Polish team is without any big-name stars, and despite their failure to qualify for Euro 2004, they could still surprise a few people. The Poland squad will be staying at Hanover’s Sportschule Barsinghausen, a large, modern sport and conference centre with 102 guest rooms. With five playing fields (one with floodlighting), the players will have ample facilities in which to practice. The site has been used as a training facility by the German club team Borussia Mönchengladbach in the past.
The above is one of a series of blog entries highlighting the luxury hotels that will be home to the national teams participating in the 2006 Fifa World Cup.
