Mantra Restaurant and Bar, Pattaya

Mantra Restaurant and Bar, PattayaThe recently opened Mantra Restaurant and Bar is perhaps worth a visit when you’re next in Pattaya. It has open kitchens allowing you to view your chef at work. Indian… Chinese… Thai… Japanese… even Mediterranean… they’re all on the menu! There’s also plenty of variety in terms of seating options: you can eat on The Balcony, on the outdoor Treasure Terrace or privately in The Lost Gallery. The restaurant opens at 6pm each evening, and the bar is open from 5pm through to 1am.

  1. The Mantra offers what is probably the best Sunday brunch in Pattaya – every Sunday from 11am till 3pm. There’s a huge variety of foods from their many international kitchens, plus oysters, other seafood, a chocolate fountain, etc. The choice is almost overwhelming!

At the Sunday brunch, they also offer what they call a wine buffet. You pay a fixed price and get all the wine you can drink: sparkling, white, red, and rose.

Sunday brunch at the Mantra ain’t cheap. Our bill for two usually comes in at about £100, so for us it’s a treat rather than a regular outing. But it’s worth every penny for the food and the whole dining experience. Highly recommended!

(PS: There’s no outside seating available during the Sunday brunch.)
