I’m surprised at this news and wonder how these plans are progressing. We lived in New Delhi for over three years and I only ever visited Noida once, on an errand to help a friend. There’s nothing there!

It’s a bleak satellite town built on a grid system. I can see how it would be convenient to site hotels there to provide accommodation during the Games. But who the heck is going to stay in these places afterwards? I really can’t imagine it.
