Crown Towers, Melbourne

Crown TowersThe  Crown Towers hotel sits on the southern banks of Melbourne’s Yarra River and is one of the main features of the Crown Entertainment Complex. It has a distinctive elliptical tower design made of stone and glass housing 482 spacious guestrooms including 84 suites and 31 villas. Bedrooms are more spacious than normal featuring panoramic views of the city, Yarra River or Port Phillip Bay, and each bathroom has its own spa bath, television, telephone and music facilities. And by August of this year, guests will be able to enjoy in-room Playstations, surf the internet and as watch in-room movies and extensive cable television channels on giant plasma screens. It’s perhaps no surprise that the hotel has been reaping awards since it opened in 1999, including the Luxury Accommodation award at the 2005 Australian Tourism Awards.
