Hotel booking gets more sophisticated

Book New York’s Irquois Hotel online and, at the same time, you can order a few treats to your room from their Elegant Touches menu. Wine, chocolates, cheese, fruit… there’s a number of extras to choose from. This could be a growing trend in the luxury market but I’m not sure how convinced I am with all the items listed… what’s wrong with just phoning the concierge when you’re there, if you should fancy a plate of cheese?
