SpaceShipTwo from Virgin Galactic
A mock-up of the Philippe Starck-designed interior of the SpaceShipTwo suborbital tourist vehicle has been unveiled. This suborbital spaceplane is currently under development by The Spaceship Company, a company formed by Burt Rutan and Richard Branson, jointly owned by Scaled Composites and the Virgin Group. The interior has 6 passenger seats capable of reclining completely to minimise G-force and 15 generously-sized windows making for easy-viewing of Earth. $200,000 flights (that covers 3 days flight preparation time) are expected to take off from Virgin Galactic’s New Mexico headquarters, with other bases in Australia, Sweden and the UK being discussed.Did you enjoy this article?
