Valentines tips from Wild Dunes Resort, Charleston, SC

No doubt in a bid to stop people from putting their bookings off until the last minute, and to gain a little PR in the process, Wild Dunes Resort in South Carolina has come up with some tips to prepare that perfect Valentine’s Day experience. Here are their suggestions:
- Don’t wait too late to plan – Don’t wait until the few days before; they can tell. The only reservations left may be too early or too late, tickets for that show may be sold out; choices become limited with every passing day. A resort getaway offers opportunities to experience and explore as much, or as little, as guests want; they can customize a stay to fit their idea of fun.
- Plan a surprise getaway – Just tell them to pack a bag for a weekend of mild weather in a month known for a chill, or better yet, pack one for them. Scrap the conventional plan and give into spontaneity and indulgence. A weekend at a beach resort can provide the perfect pay-off for a surprise Valentine’s Day trip.
- Try something new, different – The “candle-lit dinner and box of chocolates” routine is tired. And flowers? Nearly 60 percent of people buy flowers as a gift on Valentine’s Day, according to the National Retail Federation. At Wild Dunes Resort, guests can pamper themselves and their partner with a couple’s massage or couple’s tennis lesson set up through the Resort’s Pre-Arrival Concierge. And there will be plenty of time for a romantic candle-lit meal at the Resort’s fine-dining restaurant, Sea Island Grill, or maybe guests would rather have dinner delivered right to the door of their oceanfront suite.
Some good tips here it looks like. I highly recommend Wild Dunes. You have everything you could want there. One of, if not the best resorts in SC.
