  1. There is only one Carnival and that is the one in Rio.
I have been twice and my best advice is to rest up before you go because you won’t be for the four days that you are there. No matter how tired you may get the energy created will revive you over and over. You want to go to the parade at least once, hang out on Copacabana and Ipanema and get tickets to at least one Ball. Although this should be done in advance if your going last minute and are the resourceful type then talk to any hotel concierge. It may cost a little extra but it’s worth it. The sound of Samba will resonate in you mind for months and years later.

  2. Brazilians are amazing. They surprise me every day, every time. I booked with Gold Seasons. I was their first client going to Carnival, everything goes fantastic. Brazil is an incredible country

I think that everyone should be in Rio carnival at least once in life.
