$1 billion expansion plan for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is Las Vegas

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will have pretty much doubled in size by 2009 thanks to a proposed investment of almost $1 billion.   The boutique resort, which sits just off the Strip and has entertained the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, will see 950 new rooms added, including an all-suite, 15-storey tower, as well as lots more casino and meeting space. The hotel’s pool – where guests can swim and play blackjack at the same time – will also undergo expansion.
