British Tourism Week

It’s British Tourism Week! From the 12th-18th March 2007 a series of inter-related events will raise national awareness of the size, value and importance of Britain’s massive £74 billion visitor economy. His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is Patron to the week-long programme. There will be many different events held, including:
- a photographic exhibition of Britain’s countryside and coastline, known as Britainonview.com at Oxo Tower’s gallery
- a themed ‘A Very British Menu’ at the Kings Restaurant in the Grand Hotel, Brighton
- a launch event for North Wales Liverpool 08 Capital of Culture programme, held at Bodelwyddan Castle
