Marriott goes green

According to reports, Marriott International is on schedule to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by  almost 20%  over a ten year period from 2000 to 2010 – the equivalent of taking nearly 140,000 cars off the roads, apparently. As part of this effort,  next month Marriott’s 2,800 hotel across 70 countries will celebrate Environmental Awareness Month, promoting eco-friendly practices to its customers and partners.
