Jerez Horse Fair 2007

Regarded as the most important equine event in Europe, the upcoming Jerez Horse Fair in Spain will be celebrated from 6th to 13th May 2007. It draws a tremendous crowd that sees all of the city’s hotels fully booked for the duration of the event. The festival began as a cattle market, but now includes two other very popular divisions; the bullfighting and flamenco dancing events, and the Horse Fair itself. The main attraction is an elaborate, choreographed equestrian ballet performed by Jerez’s Royal School of Equestrian Art.
Truly a great event for horse lovers, but also for any visitor trying to discover a bit more about the essence of Spanish culture, a city that stands out for its pure breed horses, sherry wine and bodegas.
