  1. Alas, among the properties on Bora Bora the Intercontinental is not one of the most appealing. While their other resorts in Polynesia are quite impressive, I remember the one on Bora Bora as a bit outdated. The position is not stellar, although it is a few minutes away from the main sting-ray feeding spots on the island. The Intercontinental is not as secluded as the St.Regis or the Meridien, but it’s not in a fashionable spot like the Hotel Bora Bora. The beach is not great, and the property looks a bit outdated. The dream-like setting is still real, though!
