Is service at luxury hotels in decline?
Market Matrix LLC for the second quarter of 2007 suggests that luxury hotels are suffering a decline when compared with the same period last year, claiming Mandarin Oriental has posted the biggest drop. The study is based on 35,000 customer interviews. Do you share the view of their findings or have you noticed no change, or even an improvement?

Service is the main thing at hotels. There are impressive rooms and suites around the world, but it´s the service what makes the difference. In one word, people. In my opinion, I see a bit more quality, although it´s hard to find the right staff.
