London’s Waterloo Brasserie

Waterloo BrasserieThe Waterloo Brasserie is the latest upmarket restaurant to grace the London scene. Situated on Waterloo Road, opposite Waterloo station and The Old Vic Theatre, it is the latest venture by the team behind Chelsea’s successful Cheyne Walk Brasserie, a former Victorian pub. WB, as it is affectionately known, is open from 8am ’til late, Monday to Friday, and from 10am ’til late at the weekends, serving brasserie-style dishes which include items such as ‘wild halibut papilotte with lemon/marjoram and vermouth’ and ‘cassoulet WB with duck leg confit’. A theatre menu is available pre-show from 5pm, and you can even re-join the brasserie afterwards for pre-ordered dessert.
