Japanese ski resort gives its name to a new Mazda MX5
A Japanese ski resort on the island of Hokkaido, Niseko, is curiously behind a new Mazda MX5 that is about to be on sale in the UK. Only 240 soft tops and 560 roadsters of this limited edition Mazda will be on sale from 1st January 2008, with entry level prices starting from £17,995. Niseko is one of Japan’s most prestigious ski resorts.
Fab way to name a fab and nippy wee sports car that is loads of fun. happy driving!
It won’t resonate with most potential buyers because the name will look incomprehensible. Is this only supposed to appeal to Japanese linguists? It’s madness.
