Edinburgh Military Tattoo package from Gleneagles

Tickets for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in August always sell out in record time. However, for those looking to experience this unique event, The Gleneagles Hotel, one of Scotland‘s most famous, is offering an exclusive residential Edinburgh Tattoo package. Guests get to enjoy drinks and canapés prior to departure from Gleneagles, coach transfers to and from Edinburgh Castle, where a tour guide and a management host from the hotel will accompany guests to ensure everyone has a wonderful evening. On returning to the hotel, guests may relax with a luxurious overnight stay in one of the hotel’s stylish rooms, followed by a delicious full Scottish breakfast the next morning. Prices start from £530 per room per night based on double occupancy in a Classic room and are subject to availability, and this includes use of The Club’s leisure facilities. Hello:

I was wondering what type of packages you offer for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo on Saturday, 22 August 2009 for the 10:30 performance, which includes the fireworks. I would prefer a package that includes seats in te East Side seating (A, B or C). I would need two tickets together. I also would require a hotel that has a king-size bed, or superior king-sized (preferred) bed. I prefer that the hotel be within walking distance of the Edinburugh Castle, the Royal Mile and Princess Street. Please advise.

We don’t sell packages and Gleneagles isn’t within walking distance of the hotel; it isn’t even in Edinburgh, in fact! May I suggest you try the packages available from Superbreak if you want to be closer? They have packages for 1, 2 or 3 nights:

A great combination a stay at gleneagles and a trip to the tattoo – however it may be a bit of a trek back to gleneagles – i have no doubt that it will be in some luxurios coach but would think it may be better to book early and pick one of the many great hotels in edinburgh so you can enjoy the atmosphere of the festival!
