Would definitely recommend a visit to Ste Petersburg, I visited during the winter when the snow was up to your knees. Was so impressed at the russian ladies walking through the snow in their high heels. Visits to the Hermitage, Catherine’s Palace, St Isaacs Cathedral and the Church of Spilled Blood are all essentials.
I definitely want to go to St. Petersburg because of Andrew Zimmern’s Bizarre Foods episode that made the people look so NICE.
