See the world-famous Sabi Sand leopards

There are few places in the world where the wildlife is as abundant and diverse as in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve in South Africa. A year-round safari destination, the reserve boasts unparalleled game viewing and some fantastic luxury lodges (CC Africa has four lodges in the Sabi Sand). The magnificent leopards of the Sabi Sand offer awe-inspiring sightings, and expert rangers are able to track these elusive creatures, giving guests a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

  1. Leopard are especially prolific in the Sabi and the Sand River valleys inside the Sabi Sands private reserves. These rivers do not flow through every camp so you have to be pick camps carefully. On one of my safaris to the Sabi Sands in December 2008, I saw a Leopard jump in front of our 4X4 on the road from Londolozi to MalaMala!

I have seen Leopards every time I have visited Lion Sands and MalaMala. I had a client go to Londolozi a few months ago and see seven Leopards in one day!
