  1. regarding the affluent statistics, Emarketer reported that currently 25% of the US population are affluent and are creating a tremendous online presence. They defined affluent by an annual income of over 100K. By 2011, this figure rises to 27%. By a more strinegnt definition, 7 percent have network of 500K or more in the US currently and represent over 75% of all the wealth in the country. With this progressive increase statistically, there appears to be a growing dichotomy and also an increased need for luxury services, especially travel. The more affluentone is, the more travel becomes a lifestyle feature and less of an indulgence. Not a bad field to be considering despite economic trends.
