The dining room at Hotel Shangri-La is now open
Hotel Shangri La‘s ocean view restaurant is now open and taking reservations. Concept by Marc Smith of EDISON fame has hired local chef Noah Rosen to create an innovative menu inspired by the famous bi-weekly Santa Monica Farmer’s Market adjacent to the hotel. This is a great location for lunch after the Farmers Market or to dine as you watch the sun set over the Pacific.

I will be travelling to Shanghai in October and am considering the Shangri-La there. Anyone have any suggestions? My other options are to stay at the Westin Bund or Le Royal Meridian or the St Regis. With both of those, I will probably get upgraded to a suite since I am SPG Platinum, however I keep hearing great things about Shangri-La hotels and have never stayed at one.
