See Ireland in a new light

The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt has partnered with The Irish Landmark Trust to offer an amazing Irish holiday experience consisting of two nights in the rugged Wicklow Head Lighthouse peering over The Irish Sea followed by two nights of luxury at The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt. County Wicklow, also known as The Garden of Ireland offers beautiful scenery with lakes and mountains dotted along the coastline. Wicklow Head Lighthouse will bring guests back in time as they reside in this 100ft tower with 360 degree views of the Irish Sea from the windows of the six octagonal rooms. This is the perfect retreat and modern life seems far away as the old world décor of the lighthouse and the lack of TV’s and radio leaves time for catching up and reminiscing. Hot water bottles help guests stay cosy in winter, making this building a very special and romantic honeymoon destination. Following this experience, guests will stay for 2-3 nights at The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt where a host of activities and dining options awaits. If couples wish to take time out here also, the suites offer terraces and balconies to read, take in the wonderful views of the Sugar Loaf Mountain and perhaps share a bottle of wine. Take a picnic to the River Walk, cycle in the estate, play golf, explore Powerscourt Gardens which are steeped in history or simply relax in ESPA at Powerscourt. Following a few days cooking in the lighthouse, guests may like to avail of the 3 different food outlets at the hotel including the fine dining Gordon Ramsay restaurant which is the only restaurant by this renowned chef in Ireland.
