The world's top 10 over-the-top rentals

I’ve lost track of trying to work out how Tripadvisor determine its top 10 lists. Suffice to say, they seem to generate plenty of interest and discussion so here’s the latest in their series. This time it’s the turn of the most over-the-top rentals in the world:

1. MIT PED, $112K/week*
2. BS GRE, $105K/week*
3. Reef Point, $60K/week*
4. Villa Camilla, $35K/week*
5. Rio Chico, $80K/week*
6. Le Chateau des Palmiers, $74K/week*
7. Villa Duca, $51K/week*
8. Villa Detente Mougins, $27K/week*
9. Tremblant Condo, $23K/week*
10. Place De Vosges, $16K/week*

A luxury travel blog wouldn’t be so without the Top 10 most expensive rentals.

    All the best,

  2. Very true Ewen! But seriously.. $112k a week!? Madness! I can’t begin to imagine what you would get for that price.

You can rent my apartment for $113/week. We’ll even move out for you.
Great location in Brussels, near Royal Palace and European Quarter. Some works under way with construction of a new bathroom and kitchen at the moment. Free week offered to any electrician who undertakes to rewire the apartment in exchange for their week’s stay. A saving of at least $108 on the advertised rate!
Not that I expect to get any takers. ;o)

Just noticed that I am missing a K from the advertised rates in the previous comment. ;o)

I guessed that must be the case, John! I was sorely tempted at $113/week but alas my DIY skills probably wouldn’t be up to scratch…
